UPPER LAKE, Calif. – Cache Creek Catering and Lake County Wine Studio are presenting a quarterly food and wine series featuring gourmet appetizers paired with select Lake County wines.

Locally produced foods are proudly featured as key ingredients in recipes created by Cache Creek Catering.

The final event in the series for 2017 will be held from 5:30 to 8 p.m. on the second Saturday of November. Reservations are required.

The event on Saturday, Nov. 11, will feature a Thanksgiving menu.

The first pairing will be a salad of seasonal greens, roasted winter squash, toasted pistachios and shaved Gruyere cheese with apple cider vinaigrette, served with Shed Horn Cellars Chardonnay.

The second pairing features turkey and savory mushroom – parmesan bread pudding paired with R Vineyards Reba Red blend.

The dessert course will be a cranberry and pomegranate tart served with Thorn Hill Petite Sirah “Fire” dessert wine.

Lake County Wine Studio is both a gallery for display of arts and a tasting room, wine bar and retail shop for the fine wines of Lake County.

Artist’s shows are held on a monthly basis with art and wine receptions held the first Friday and subsequent Saturday of each month except in January.

The gallery is located at 9505 Main St. in Upper Lake. The hours of business are Thursday through Monday from 1 to 7 p.m., and Friday from 1 to 8 p.m.
