MIDDLETOWN, Calif. – Through Nov. 30, clothing items with red or lavender tags are 10 items for $1 at the Middletown Methodist Thrift Shop, located at 21216 Washington St.

"Many of our regular customers have moved away," said Maria Noe, thrift shop treasurer. "We want to attract new customers and encourage former customers to visit."

The Middletown Methodist Thrift Shop hours for the balance of November are Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays from noon to 4 p.m., and Saturdays from 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

The shop will be closed on the Wednesdays and Thursday of Thanksgiving week.

Donations qualify for IRS charitable giving and are accepted on the days it is open.

Thrift shop funds support local scholarships, missions and services for the community.
