CLEARLAKE, Calif. – Pacific Gas and Electric has partnered with the Lakeshore Lions Club in the amount of $7,500 to pay about half of the cost of the July 4 fireworks in the city of Clearlake, the club reported.

The fireworks are part of the Independence Day celebration produced by the Lakeshore Lions Club which included the Redbud Parade, car show, carnival and vendor street displays.

This event draws a large crowd and is a special part of the holiday activities.
