Public invited to ‘Meet the Candidate’ coffees with district attorney candidate Steve Brown

LAKE COUNTY, Calif. – District attorney candidate Steve Brown is inviting Lake County residents to three new “Meet the Candidate” coffees which are being held from 8:30 to 11 a.m. on Saturdays during the month of April.

These complimentary community events are open to the public and scheduled as follows:

– April 7: Lower Lake Coffee Company at 16199 Main Street in Lower Lake;
– April 21: Mountain High Coffee at 18983 Hartmann Road in Hidden Valley Lake;
– April 28: Mountain High Coffee at 16295 Highway 175 in Cobb.

“Our ‘Meet the Candidate’ coffees have been very well received by the public,” said Brown. “As a candidate for Lake County district attorney, I will continue listening to residents’ safety concerns and sharing my ideas for reducing crime in our communities.”

He added, “I encourage residents from Lower Lake, Hidden Valley Lake and Cobb to join me this month for coffee and conversation about the future of criminal justice in Lake County.

Additional “Meet the Candidate” coffees are being planned in Kelseyville and Middletown.

A fourth-generation Lake County resident, Brown currently works with a successful private practice law firm in Lakeport, where he has worked on more than 1,000 criminal cases.

Brown previously served as a contract attorney for Lake County’s public defense contractor. In 2016, he was appointed by the governor to serve on the Lake County Fair Board.
