Lake County Correctional Officers Association endorses Harry for judge

LAKE COUNTY, Calif. – The Lake County Correctional Officers Association, or LCCOA, has endorsed Shanda Harry, candidate for Superior Court judge in Department 4.

LCCOA President Cody Risser announced the endorsement on Wednesday.

The association represents the 53-member dedicated and professional correctional sergeants, correctional officers, correctional aides and safety dispatchers of Lake County.

In making the announcement, Risser stated, “I have always known Shanda to be straightforward and fair. With her background and strong work ethic, I am confident she will make a great judge. Shanda has the full support of the Lake County Correctional Officers Association.”

Harry expressed her thanks to the LCCOA members, stating, “I am very grateful to the members of the LCCOA, for choosing to endorse me after reviewing my education, experience and readiness for Superior Court judge. I look forward to working with all members of the organization to continue to build a strong and respectful relationship between the judicial and correctional communities which will benefit all residents of Lake County.”
