LAKE COUNTY, Calif. – Wildfires have set us all back to some degree.
To help ease our community’s hardship and keep our local families on track, Mother-Wise has teamed up with Baby2Baby to accept and distribute a generous donation of baby wipes and diapers (in sizes 1, 4, 5 and 6) to any local family who needs them, for as long as supplies last.
There are no special requirements (income, age, etc.) to accept this donation, and requests will be fulfilled in the order they are received.
Baby2Baby is a nation-wide nonprofit organization based in Los Angeles.
Disaster response is only one aspect of their program, as each year they help hundreds of thousands of children meet their basic needs, while easing the financial burden for distressed families.
Their long list of supporters includes several familiar celebrities and lots of caring and generous moms.
Here in Lake County, Mother-Wise serves a similar supportive role for families by offering a wide variety of services to expecting and new moms who could use some extra help and companionship.
Mother-Wise support options include weekly peer support groups, home visits with volunteer companions and a well-stocked supplies closet.
