LAKEPORT, Calif. – The Lakeport Police Department has issued a traffic safety advisory for Clear Lake High School’s homecoming parade, which is set to take place on Friday, Oct. 12.

The parade will begin at 4 p.m. in downtown Lakeport.

Police said the parade route will travel south on Main Street between Seventh and Martin streets.

Starting at approximately 3:30 p.m., street closures will begin on Main Street between Ninth and C streets.

Closures will be in place until the parade ends at approximately 4:45 p.m.

Motorists are advised to use alternate routes.
