HIDDEN VALLEY LAKE, Calif. – “Ballot Harvesting and What Republicans must do to win in California again,” will be Mark Meuser's topic as he addresses the Lake County Republican Women Federated at the May 8 luncheon in the Greenview Room in Hidden Valley Lake.

A native Californian, he attended Oak Brook College of Law. After finishing law school, Meuser worked for Sen. John Loudon of Missouri as his campaign manager and then as Loudon's chief of staff.

Sen. Loudon was the chairman of the Small Business, Insurance and Industrial Relations Committee. Meuser applied his experience and education to help further legislation that would assist small businesses.

To better help small business owners, he opened The Meuser Law Group in Walnut Creek in 2010. He operates a diverse civil litigation firm that represents both individuals and small businesses.

Today, Meuser is an accomplished attorney in both election law and civil litigation. He is committed to fighting for honest and fair elections.

Many will remember the trouble at UC Berkeley. Meuser defended Troy Worden, who was the Berkeley College Republican president, in a civil litigation matter brought against him by Yvette Felarca, a national organizer of the organization By Any Means Necessary, which is a part of the Antifa movement.

Meuser was successful in defeating a petition for a restraining order brought that was designed to restrict Worden’s movement on campus and effected his First and Second Amendment rights.

An entrepreneur at age 12, Meuser picked cherries in the morning and sold them at street side in the afternoon. He also worked hard caring for orphaned animals each day. By age 15, he was in a management position at a local restaurant. By age 21, he purchased his own pizza restaurant.

Meuser believes that these years of developing character through hard work were important, formative years in his life. His athleticism has been apparent all of his life. He is also a student of history and a voracious reader.
