LAKE COUNTY, Calif. — The Lake County Wine Alliance is accepting applications for beneficiaries for the proceeds of its 2024 Wine Auction.

Applications are available on the winealliance.org website and the submission deadline is Wednesday May 1.

The Wine Alliance is a nonprofit founded in 2000 whose mission of supporting charitable and other local programs in the arts, health and community

Raising funds each year at their annual Wine Auction, the LCWA has given over $2,853,752 to local organizations and nonprofits focused on health and the arts.

Last year a total of $226,000 was distributed to over 40 groups including the Lake County high schools’ art, music, FFA and culinary programs, as well as Hospice Services, the Lake County Youth Symphony, Jack’s Lavender Farm and Operation Tango Mike.

The beneficiary application and other information is available on the Wine Alliance website.

Applications are accepted preferably via digital submission or postmarked by May 1.

The alliance notes “Please keep in mind before applying that the priorities of the Wine Alliance in choosing beneficiaries for approval are: Health, Education and the Arts with a focus on children and the elderly. You will need to make sure your application aligns with these priorities to be considered.”
