LAKEPORT, Calif. – On Friday, Jan. 29, AmeriGas District Manager John Garcia presented a donation check to Joe Aldridge, principal of Lakeport Alternative Education Center.

As part of the School Days Program offered through AmeriGas, schools can receive up to $2,000 per school year.

These funds can be used as the school sees fit. Some schools purchase new playground equipment, scholastic supplies, athletic equipment or uniforms, or even field trips.

Principal Aldridge has decided to use the funds for school attendance incentives for at-risk students.

School Days is a very easy program to administer and AmeriGas provides you with the information and supplies you need to start earning the money.
