KELSEYVILLE, Calif. – The Kelseyville United Methodist Church and the Unitarian Universalist Community of Lake County are joining together to host a sing-a-long after the parade at Kelseyville’s Christmas in the Country event on Friday, Dec 1.

The church will be decorated for Christmas, with special cookies and hot beverages available for visitors.

Musicians will lead visitors in singing Christmas Carols, using song sheets provided by the churches.

There is no charge for the goodies. However, donations of food or money for the Kelseyville Food Pantry will be gratefully accepted during the evening.

Every second and fourth Tuesday of the month, people in Kelseyville who need food are invited to visit the food pantry at the Presbyterian Church in Kelseyville to receive a bag of food for their families.

The food pantry relies entirely on donations of food and money which is used to purchase items that are needed.

The Kelseyville United Methodist Church and the Unitarian Universalist Community of Lake County share space in the historic Methodist Church building located at First and Main streets in Kelseyville.

The two churches work together on projects and activities to benefit Kelseyville and Lake County.
