Easter service at Unitarian Universalist Community of Lake County

KELSEYVILLE, Calif. – The Easter service at the Unitarian Universalist Community of Lake County is entitled, “The Message Lives On: Easter, Martin Luther King and Transforming Our World.”

The service begins at 11 a.m. on Sunday, April 1, at the church, located at 3810 Main St. in Kelseyville.

Guests are welcome to attend. Values-based child care is provided.

April 4 marks the fiftieth anniversary of the death of Martin Luther King, Jr. On this Easter Day, the service will recognize the power and endurance of Dr. King’s legacy in the fight for human rights.

Easter’s message of renewal and transformation gives hope to those engaged in the continued struggle for peace and justice.

Special Easter music will be presented by Clovice and Carol Cole-Lewis, who will play “Adagio” from Easter Oratorio by J.S. Bach on cello and piano.
