CLEARLAKE, Calif. – Storm conditions have necessitated further ramp closures in the city of Clearlake.
Due to high water levels and hazardous conditions caused by the ongoing storms in the county, Clearlake Public Works Director Douglas Herren announced Wednesday that that all ramps at Redbud Park’s Thompson Harbor will be closed until further notice.
Herren said all launch ramps will be reopened when Clear Lake’s level reaches an adequate level to launch safely.
Boat launches in the unincorporated county are still closed due to high water, according to Lake County Public Services, with the Lakeport Public Works Department confirming that the city of Lakeport’s ramps also remain closed because of unsafe conditions.
