LAKEPORT, Calif. – The Board of Supervisors this week will discuss hiring a firm to complete a new hazard mitigation plan and continue its discussion of a school bond issuance.
The board will meet beginning at 9 a.m. Tuesday, May 16, in the board chambers on the first floor of the Lake County Courthouse, 255 N. Forbes St., Lakeport.

At 9:15 a.m., the board will consider an agreement not to exceed $97,251 with Foster Morrison Consulting Ltd. for the Lake County 2018 Hazard Mitigation Plan.
In an untimed discussion held over from its May 9 meeting, the board will consider the bond issuance for the Konocti Unified School District.
Also untimed is the board's consideration of the Quagga and Zebra Mussel Infestation Prevention Fee Grant Program FY 2016/2017 Application and Funding Agreement Resolution.
In other business on Tuesday, the board will present proclamation designating the week of May 20 to 26 as National Safe Boating Week in Lake County and the month of May as Military Appreciation Month.
