7:17 a.m. Icy roads reported at Seigler Canyon just east of Highway 175/Cobb. County Roads Department advised of road conditions.


7:36 a.m. Dog running in roadway, Highway 29 just south of 11th Street, Lakeport.


8:40 a.m. Caller advises he and two other vehicles are in the ditch along Seigler Canyon Road, two miles from Highway 29. County Roads Department advised.


9:07 a.m. It's reported that there are now more vehicles in the ditch than before along Seigler Canyon Road due to icy roads.

10:07 a.m. Deer versus white Lincoln Town Car on westbound Highway 20 at mile marker 6. Deer on side of road but still alive. A child is reportedly in the vehicle. Windshield damage; unknown if it's from the deer or something else.


11:52 a.m. Disabled vehicle at 3890 Highland Springs Road at Highway 29. Caller believes a subject may be living in the vehicle and almost might be in possession of stolen property because he asked caller's husband if he wanted to buy or trade a “Rotozip.”


4:03 p.m. Construction trailer partially blocking the lane at Gifford Springs and Mapes Avenue.

6:18 p.m. - Caller believes his ex-wife has pushed a vehicle into the roadway at Surf Lane and Everglade, causing a traffic hazard.

2:52 p.m. - Large boulders and mud in the lane on Highway 175 in Cobb at Loch Lomond.

 

3:23 p.m. - Tree into power line on Hildebrand Drive at Highway 29. PG&E needed to remove tree.


4:59 p.m. - Flooding on both sides of the road on Lakeshore Boulevard just north of Park Way.

 

6:15 p.m. - Large boulders in the roadway in northbound lane of Highway 29 at the top of Coyote Grade.


6:18 p.m. - Rocks in the roadway on Butts Canyon Road.


6:32 p.m. - Rock/mudslide blocking roadway in westbound lane of Highway 20 one mile west of Clearlake Oaks.


8:47 p.m. - Tree across the road at 19595 Highway 175 at Anderson Springs.


Monday, Dec. 25


10:07 a.m. - Disabled vehicle on Highway 29 at the Coyote Grade.


3:20 p.m. - Big St. Bernard dog reported in the lane on Highway 29 at Highway 175/Hopland Grade.


7:22 p.m. - Disabled vehicle on northbound Highway 29 just north of Butts Canyon Road.


7:33 p.m. - Disabled vehicle on southbound Highway 29 just north of Park Way.

 

Sunday, Dec. 24


12:59 p.m. - Traffic collision with no injuries on Highway 175/Hopland Grade, mile marker 5.


4:34 p.m. - AAA request on E. Finley and Big Valley roads.


9 p.m. - Vehicle versus pedestrian with minor injuries on Highway 29 at Riato Road. Subject just north of the vehicle is kneeling, unknown if injured. Officer is out with subject.

 

Saturday, Dec. 23

1:33 p.m. - Disabled vehicle on Highway 20 at mile marker 36.

7:48 p.m. - Traffic collision with minor injuries on Highway 175/Hopland Grade at mile marker 0. Two small children, a baby and a mom involved.

 

Friday, Dec. 22


6:48 a.m. - Vehicle off the road in Loch Lomond, one mile east of Highway 175. Car hit a fire hydrant. The county roads department is responding to sand Loch Lomond Road. No injuries reported.


6:53 a.m. - Disabled vehicle on Highway 20 near the Clearlake Oaks fire house.


8:25 a.m. - Traffic collision with no injuries on Highway 175 near Sho-Ka-Wah Casino. Accident was deer-related.


8:57 a.m. - White pickup reported off the road on Soda Bay mile marker 5 near Clearlake Ready Mix.


9:15 a.m. - Traffic collision with no injuries reported on southbound Highway 29 just south of Highway 175. CHP unit on scene. Accident involved a small white truck with a black dog in the back.


9:25 a.m. - County road department called to bring sand for roadway at Ponderosa and Twin Oaks due to weather conditions.


10:17 a.m. - Three elderly adults walking in the road, causing a traffic hazard at Hill Road near Park Way.


10:34 a.m. - Gray Acura versus a silver car on northbound Highway 29 just north of Hofacker. Both vehicles pushed off the road. Minor injuries reported.

 
Thursday, Dec. 21

11:23 a.m. - Vehicle versus power pole on New Long Valley Road, one-quarter mile south of Spring Valley Road. No injuries reported. AT&T called to come and look at damaged power pole.

11:55 a.m. - One thousand pound boulder reported in the roadway on Highway 29 between Middletown and Hidden Valley Lake.

1:24 p.m. - Disabled vehicle, northbound Highway 29 on Nice/Lucerne Cutoff.

2:25 p.m. - Rocks reported in the roadway on the Lake County side of Highway 175/Hopland Grade.

3:16 p.m. - Three dogs running loose in the roadway on Highway 53 just north of Olympic.

3:17 p.m. - Large boulders in the roadway on Bottle Rock Road, three miles from Highway 29.

5:24 p.m. - Disabled vehicle on Highway 20 just east of Bartlett Springs.


Wednesday, Dec. 20 

10:36 a.m. - Traffic collision with no injuries at Ninth and Main streets, Lakeport. Lake County Sheriff and Lakeport Police responding; CHP unit on scene at 10:38 a.m.

 

6:38 p.m. - Dead deer in the road in the southbound lane of Highway 29 at Kit's Corner. Animal is on east shoulder of highway just south of Eagle's Nest. Roadway clear. Caltrans notified.

 

Tuesday, Dec. 19

11:28 a.m. - Spilled load of pipe fittings in Highway 29's northbound lane, just north of Hopland Grade/175 junction.


12:43 p.m. - On Bottle Rock at Highway 29, Kelseyville, it's reported that a mountain lion is on the road, “still twitching,” after possibly being hit by a car. A CHP officer was en route at 1 p.m. A deer was found but no mountain lion.


4:47 p.m. - Two vehicles involved in a traffic collision on Highway 29 at Bottle Rock Road, Kelseyville. Ambulance responding. Minor injuries reported. A gray vehicle is on fire and over the size of the road; the driver is out of the vehicle. By 5:26 p.m. both lanes of traffic had been reopened and the vehicles cleared.


5:58 p.m. - Deer reported on the west shoulder of Highway 29 just south of Bottle Rock Road, Kelseyville. Caltrans notified.
