MIDDLETOWN, Calif. – The annual community Earth Day event will take place at Calpine’s Geothermal Visitor Center on Saturday, April 21.
The free community event, which celebrates Lake County sustainability, will take place from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
It will feature guided bus tours to a geothermal power plant, live music, Middletown community garden tours and booths.

Beginning at 6:30 p.m., Middletown High School’s 2018 Sober Grad will host bingo at the center.
Tickets for bingo are $30 at the door or at www.mhsgradnight.org.
The bingo event, for ages 21 and older, will offer beer and wine for $5 and light hors d’oeuvres.
