Highway 20 near Clearlake Oaks closed due to downed power lines

LAKE COUNTY, Calif. – The California Highway Patrol’s Clear Lake Area office said Saturday afternoon that downed power lines have necessitated a temporary closure of a portion of Highway 20.

The CHP said just after 4:30 p.m. that the closure is in effect between Beryl Way and Hillside Lane near Clearlake Oaks.

The roadway is to be closed in both directions for 45 minutes. Motorists are asked to use alternate routes.
