LAKE COUNTY, Calif. – The Board of Directors for the Lake County Association of Realtors has voted in favor of supporting Measure L.

The Board felt Measure L, which is for the proposed Lake County Watershed Protection Authority Transactions and Use Tax ordinance, is the best way to get the desperately needed funds for watershed improvement programs.

The ordinance will help promote the longterm health of Clear Lake, safeguard Clear Lake and other bodies of water in Lake County from aquatic invasive species, and alleviate the effect of aquatic weeds and cyanobacteria (algae).

The Lake County Association of Realtors is joining with other local organizations like the Lake County Chamber of Commerce and the Sierra Club, which already have agreed to support the measure.
