MATH plans Jan. 14 meeting

MIDDLETOWN – The Middletown Area Town Hall (MATH) Board of Directors will meet on Thursday, Jan. 14.

The meeting begins at 7 p.m. at Loconoma Valley High School on Washington Street in Middletown.

The public is encouraged to attend.

Under unfinished business, the group will discuss action items including the Middletown Community/ Youth Center Survey and replacement of Northern District Board Member Scott Fergusson.

In new business, they will move to approve by acclamation the MATH Board nominees; hear a presentation regarding the Middletown Library and Senior Center from County Administrative Officer Kelly Cox and Supervisor Jim Comstock; discuss a bylaws amendment providing for an at-large board seat; consider a letter to the Board of Supervisors regarding establishment of a Middletown Library/Senior Center Advisory Committee; and receive board reports.

MATH meetings are subject to videotaping. Meeting proceedings may be available for viewing on public access television and/or the Internet.

The group is a municipal advisory council serving the residents of Anderson Springs, Cobb, Coyote Valley – including Hidden Valley Lake – Long Valley and Middletown.
