LAKEPORT, Calif. – The Lakeport Public Works Department said there is a 24-hour street closure in effect on a portion of Green Street due to underground work being performed in the area.

Green Street between Lakeshore Boulevard and Hillcrest Drive is closed is through traffic, officials reported.

The closure, which went into effect at noon on Wednesday, will continue until noon on Thursday, the department reported.

The public is asked to use additional caution in the area.
