CLEARLAKE, Calif. – The city of Clearlake is conducting paving operations on Phillips and 18th avenues this week that will require traffic control.

The work is taking place from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. each day.

On Wednesday, Aug. 2, and Friday, Aug. 4, paving operations will occur on 18th Avenue between Highway 53 and Boyles Avenue.

Eighteenth Avenue will be closed between Oak Avenue and Phillips Avenue with a detour to 40th Avenue. Access to the hospital will be open at all times.

On Thursday, Aug. 3, work will take place on Phillips Avenue between 40th and 18th avenues. There will be one lane open for public traffic under flagged control.
