UPPER LAKE, Calif. – The Upper Lake Senior Center offers a number of programs to serve the community.

The following is a list of classes and programs available at the center.

– Monday: French class is offered at 5 p.m. on the second and fourth Mondays of the month.

– Tuesday: Gentle seated yoga, 11 a.m., first, second and fourth Tuesdays. Watercolor art class follows at noon, with supplies provided.On the third Tuesday the Upper Lake Food Project will take place at the center at 10 a.m.

– Wednesday: Sit and Be Fit exercise class, 10:30 a.m. On the fourth Wednesday they host “Coffee and Conversation” with many interesting and informative speakers. Wednesday afternoons offer an art and crafts program to be announced in sessions of four to five weeks.

Everyone is invited to come and attend these opportunities to get out, have conversations, make supportive relationships and enjoy the activities.

The Upper Lake Senior Center is located on the corner of Mendenhall Road and First Street.
