Museum to be closed for July 4 holiday

LAKE COUNTY, Calif. – Lake County Public Services announced that the Courthouse Museum in Lakeport and the Historic Schoolhouse Museum in Lower Lake will be closed Wednesday, July 4, for the Fourth of July holiday.

The Courthouse Museum and the Historical Schoolhouse will reopen on Thursday, July 5.

Normal operating hours at the Courthouse Museum in Lakeport are 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Wednesday through Saturday and Sunday, noon to 4 p.m.

The Historic Schoolhouse Museum in Lower Lake is normally open 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., Wednesday through Saturday, and closed on Sundays.

The Gibson Museum in Middletown is open Thursday through Saturday, noon to 4 p.m.
