Citizens Caring for Clearlake plan cleanup events this week

CLEARLAKE, Calif. – Citizens Caring for Clearlake, or CC4C, is holding several cleanup events around the city this week.

On Tuesday, Sept. 4, from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. the group will hold its regular Tuesday morning clean up in the Carl’s Jr. parking lot.

They will be cleaning the Highway 53 corridor, mostly between 18th and Lower Lake on the west side of the highway.

On Wednesday, Sept. 5, from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. Edwin Christwitz is leading more cleaning up at 14190 Konocti.

On Saturday, Sept. 8, beginning at 8:30 a.m., group members will participate in an Adopt A Highway event. Vicki Crystal will lead the cleanup; participant are asked to meet at Carl’s Jr.
