CLEARLAKE, Calif. – Do you have a fire story that you want to tell and save for posterity?

In Lake County, nearly everyone now has a fire story and those stories are part of our history.

The Lake County Library and StoryCenter invite Lake County residents to register to share their 30-minute reflections and stories about their experiences of the fires last year, or in years before, on Wednesday, Sept. 26, from 2 to 7 p.m. at the Redbud Library 14785 Burns Valley Road in Clearlake.

To apply for interview participation, visit https://www.storycenter.org/lake-county-wildfire-stories.

You can come to be interviewed or bring a friend, family member or colleague to have a conversation about your experiences and the lessons learned from those events.

The interviews will be recorded and stored as part of the California State Library collections.

For information call 707-263-8817.
