LAKEPORT, Calif. – The annual “Shipwreck Day” will take place in Lakeport’s Library Park on Saturday, May 4.

The event will take place from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Shipwreck Day is an event structured for pirates of all ages.

There will be a costume contest and a new competition "dress your dog like a pirate" (pets must be on a leash).

There will be plenty of activities plus grog, grub and specialty vendor booths.

Sing along with pirate shanties. Enjoy the entertainment of special guest Captain Angus and My Divas.

This year the festivities are being produced by the Lake County Theater Co. and directed by Dennis Fay.
