Seats still available for third annual Senior Summit

MIDDLETOWN, Calif. – Organizers of the third annual Senior Summit set later this month say there are still some seats available but they encourage community member to register as soon as possible.

The event is on Saturday, April 27, at the Twin Pine Casino and Hotel Event Center in Middletown.

Doors open at 9:30 a.m.; the program begins at 10 a.m. and concludes at 3 p.m.

Register online by Thursday, April 25, to ensure a seat.

At this time, the nomination period for Inspirational Senior Awards has closed. Eight seniors have been selected to receive awards. The awards will be announced at the summit.

Also, the health and wellness booths have all been filled. If you have any questions about your booth, please contact Kristy Weiss of Hospice Services of Lake County at 707-263-6270, Extension 112.

Free to seniors 60 and over, the event includes lunch, entertainment, raffles, health and wellness booths, awards and more.

The first 200 registered will receive a nice conference bag and everyone who visits the booths will be entered into multiple raffles.

The Senior Summit is a project of the Lake County Silver Foundation Inc. It is a special day dedicated to honoring Lake County seniors and elders.
