COBB, Calif. – District 5 Supervisor Rob Brown will speak at the July 10 meeting of Lake County Republican Women Federated.
The luncheon meeting will be at the Black Rock Golf Course Restaurant, 16451 Golf Road, Cobb. It is a beautiful area at the foot of Cobb Mountain.
Supervisor Brown will speak on the topic, “The current status of projects within the county.”
Brown is a third generation resident of Lake County. His district includes Kelseyville (town and general area), Clear Lake Rivieras, Buckingham, Loch Lomond, and parts of Cobb Mountain area, but he works hard for all of the county.
He was particularly dedicated during the Valley fire. He had planned to retire, however, because of the Valley fire he decided on one more term. He is now completing his fifth term on the county Board of Supervisors.
He has had a long business career and also was the Kelseyville wrestling coach for a couple of decades. This gentleman's character is summed up in this quote from a 2016 interview, “We’re going to thrive. But we have to do everything right. That’s my goal,”
All women and men are welcome at Lake County Republican Women Federated meetings by reservation. If you are not on the group’s call list, please phone 707-998-3280 by July 5 to place your luncheon reservation and provide your contact phone number.
