WILLOWS, Calif. – The Mendocino National Forest is looking for committed, hard-working, skilled individuals to work in its fire and fuels management program.
Permanent positions are open on the USAJOBS website beginning Jan. 27, 2020, and closing Feb. 5, 2020.
Candidates are encouraged to apply to any position on the forest and to read the announcement thoroughly to ensure you are applying to the correct announcement, as some position titles appear similar.
Applicants to the Mendocino National Forest will only be considered for the following duty locations: Covelo, Soda Creek, Elk Creek, Paskenta, Stonyford, Upper Lake and Willows.
Successful applicants will work in a variety of positions such as fire engine operators and dispatchers along with hotshot, prevention and fuels specialists.
