CLEARLAKE – Clearlake's annual Christmas Light Parade will brighten up the city Saturday evening.

The event begins at 6 p.m.

The theme this year is “Christmas Carols Come to Life.”

More than 50 parade entrants will travel from Redbud to Austin Park, all decorated in beautiful holiday lights.

The activities will just be getting started as the parade arrives at Austin Park.

Pastor Richard Bean will start the celebration, which will include the tree lighting, carolers, a visit and photo with Santa; the first 100 children to visit Santa will receive a glow necklace.

The Konocti Dance Academy Dancers will perform, and cocoa and cookies will be provided by the Lakeshore Lions and Foods Etc.
