LAKEPORT, Calif. – The city of Lakeport reported that paving work for its Second Street Sidewalk Improvements Project will take place on Monday, Oct. 12.

Hours of work will be 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Second Street, including the intersection of Second and Park streets.

During paving, this section of Second Street will be closed off to through traffic.

Team Ghilotti Inc. has contracted with the city of Lakeport to perform the project.

The city said the paving work will begin and be completed on the same day.

Temporary lane closures, vehicle and pedestrian detours will be implemented at various stages of the project.

For everyone’s safety, the city asks that the temporary traffic control signage be observed.
