Lucerne Town Hall meets Nov. 19

LUCERNE, Calif. – The Lucerne Town Hall will hold a meeting on Thursday, Nov. 19.

The meeting will begin at 7 p.m. and will take place via conference call. Dial in at 425-436-6302, pin No. 193440#.

The special guest speaker is Officer Herringshaw with Code Enforcement, as community members asked to discuss the homeless sleeping on Highway 20.

They also will get a presentation from Joseph Caminiti from Caltrans to discuss the Lucerne Complete Streets Improvements Caltrans survey for Highway 20.

Other items will include an inquiry to determine the status of all capacities available at the Lucerne Alpine Senior Center for responding to wildfire incidents, public health and safety issues, emergencies and other community needs.

The town hall also will discuss bylaws and membership qualifications and get an update on a proposal from Kevin Waycik who is seeking a tax deduction for homeowners who clean their yards.
