Free tabling workshop planned for April 8

KELSEYVILLE, Calif. — Does your agency need volunteers? Would you like to take part in a volunteer fair designed to recruit volunteers? Would you like to learn new skills and strategies needed to excel at tabling events?

A free, in-person workshop on outreach efforts through tabling will take place from 4 to 5:30 p.m. Monday, April 8, at Kelseyville Presbyterian Church, 5340 Third St.

Whether you're a seasoned organization or new to community engagement, this workshop is tailored to enhance your outreach efforts and maximize impact.

Any agencies registered to be part of the LUV Where You Live! volunteer event for all of Lake County — scheduled to take place on April 30 from 4 to 6 p.m. at Kelseyville Presbyterian Church — are invited to this free in person workshop.

What you'll learn:

• Setting up your booth: Get tips on creating an inviting and informative booth or table setup.

• Engagement strategies: Discover techniques to attract and engage passersby effectively.

• Communication skills: Learn how to communicate your organization's mission and goals concisely and persuasively.

• Building connections: Explore ways to build meaningful connections with event attendees and potential volunteers.

Each agency which participates in the training event will receive 100 full color brochures of their own design for volunteer recruitment. Agencies with multiple participants will receive 250 brochures.
