KELSEYVILLE, Calif. — On Sunday, April 21, the Ely Stage Stop Museum will hold a barbecue, ribbon cutting ceremony and unveiling of the newly restored 1890 Kelseyville Jail.

The jail was restored in honor of Lake County's first responders and all are invited to attend.

The barbecue starts at noon with the ribbon cutting at 1 p.m.

Historical Society President Dr. John Parker will talk about two of Lake County's most notorious stagecoach robbers.

One still has an active $1,000 reward for information leading to his arrest.

The Ely Stage Stop Museum is located on Soda Bay Road just north of HWY 29 (between Kitts Corner and Riviera Market).
