Harby: Farrington’s feeble attempt to undermine a critic

Print
In a feeble attempt to undermine one of his critics, Anthony Farrington has trampled my rights and violated Facebook rules.

He swiped a photo off my Facebook page and reposted it on his own without my permission.

Facebook Terms of Service state “You may not use our Products to do or share anything that infringes or violates someone else's rights, including their intellectual property rights, such as by infringing another’s copyright or trademark.”

In order for him to have a page, Farrington had to agree to these terms. He broke his own agreement.

Either Farrington is ignorant of the rules or he maliciously violated them. Either is disqualifying. Are voters willing to unleash this kind of unethical behavior on the people of Lake County? Our district attorney takes an oath to uphold the law and to serve all of the people, not just those with whom he or she agrees politically.

Our DA must be honest, have integrity and be beyond reproach. There is only one candidate in the DA race that fully respects and upholds the rights of all of us — Susan Krones.

I am proud to endorse Krones for Lake County district attorney. Please vote by mail, or in person on Tuesday, June 7.
