NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING FOR MAJOR USE & SITE DEVELOPMENT PERMIT

675 NORTH ORCHARD AVENUE, APN 002-030-09 & 10

FILE NO. 21-6246


NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Planning Commission will review and consider a proposed Major Use & Site Development Permit application for the development of a U-Haul Self-Storage and Rental Facility at 675 N. Orchard Ave.; APNs 002-030-09 & 10. 


The zoning district is Community Commercial (C-1), and the General Plan designation is Commercial (C).


PROJECT IMPACTS:  The proposed project is categorically exempt from the provisions of CEQA pursuant to CEQA Guidelines Article 19 Section 15332, Class 32, In-fill Development Projects.


PUBLIC HEARING DATE/TIME: October 13, 2021 at 6:00 p.m. or soon thereafter.


LOCATION: This meeting will take place via teleconference. The call-in number and access code will be included on the agenda posted to the City website, http://www.cityofukiah.com/meetings/  and at the Civic Center Agenda Board no less than 72 hours prior to the meeting.


WHAT WILL HAPPEN:  The Planning Commission will hold a public hearing to consider all public testimony and approve, conditionally approve or deny the Major Use & Site Development Permit. All interested parties may comment on the project. Pertinent documents are available for review at the Community Development Department counter or online 72 hours prior to the hearing at http://www.cityofukiah.com/meetings/ .
