Galilee Lutheran hosts sermon on 'The gift of service'

KELSEYVILLE – This Sunday, Dec. 13, Galilee Lutheran Church will celebrate the third Sunday of the Advent season with a theme of “Open before Christmas.”


This week’s message will be “The gift of service,” which is the second gift to be opened before Christmas. The Rev. Denis Eucalyptus, interim pastor will deliver the message.


Refreshments will be served after the service. The community is invited to join them.


Sunday school will be held at 9 a.m. for the children. Adult bible study also is at 9 a.m. and repeated at 11:30 a.m. with a continuation of the video “The New Testament,” followed by discussion.


The church's Galilee Choir will host family night from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Monday, Dec. 14. Bring the children for a fun-filled night of Christmas caroling. Everyone is welcome.
