CLEARLAKE, Calif. – God’s Country Band returns to Lake County with an all-country authentic sound that will have you reminiscing over the great country classics you’ve heard through your life.
Buried at the center of each performance is a pure heart of praise and love of God.
God’s Country Band will provide their musical talents in a benefit performance to support Simon’s House, a Christian faith-based organization helping Lake County’s needy and disabled people with job training, rehabilitation and life skills.
They will perform at 7 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 18, at the Clearlake Nazarene Church.
The group also provide music for the 10:45 a.m. Sunday worship service.
“It is a blessing to have such a talented group of musicians coming to Clearlake,” said Clearlake Nazarene Pastor Richard Bean.
So, who is God's Country Band? Go back a couple of years to April of 2007 and an answer to
prayer.
Tim Stout, blessed with a close-knit family, had one great desire for himself and his two sons, Tim Jr. and Mike: that was to form a Gospel group with his brother-in-law, Randy Mills. Seeking first the Kingdom of God, Stout received his answer.
While the family came together and honed their musical talents, a void was filled with the addition of Glenn Davis and Jack Crowder, giving the group the sound that is ultimately God's Country Band.
A family-oriented Country Gospel group, they love to sing about Jesus.
Their mandate is simple and direct. First, win souls for the kingdom of God and second, bless and entertain their Christian Brothers and Sisters. Each member is blessed with songwriting ability and the group writes the great majority of their material. Each has an incredible testimony waiting to be shared
with the world around them.
