KELSEYVILLE, Calif. – The Kelseyville United Methodist Church and the Unitarian Universalist Community of Lake County invite people to stop by the church at 3810 Main Street in Kelseyville during Christmas in the Country on Dec. 6.

The church will be open for caroling and is also a great spot for watching the parade.

Members of the community are invited to join in the caroling, which will be held prior to the start of the parade, at 5:30 p.m. Musicians will lead visitors in singing, using song sheets provided by the churches.

The churches extend an invitation to “stay warm, sing songs, and watch the parade come together at the corner of First and Main.”

In addition, the churches are encouraging donations of food or money for the Kelseyville Food Pantry.

Every second and fourth Tuesday of the month, people in Kelseyville who need food are invited to visit the food pantry at the Presbyterian Church in Kelseyville to receive a bag of food for their families.

The food pantry relies entirely on donations of food and money which is used to purchase items that are needed.

The Kelseyville United Methodist Church and the Unitarian Universalist Community of Lake County share space in the historic Methodist Church building located at First and Main streets in Kelseyville.

The two churches work together on projects and activities to benefit Kelseyville and Lake County.
