LAKEPORT, Calif. – The Lakeport City Council will receive an update on the new Mendocino College Lake Center campus when it meets on Tuesday.

The meeting will begin at 6 p.m. Tuesday, October 4, in the council chambers at Lakeport City Hall, 225 Park St.

During public presentations, the Lake County Friends of Mendocino College will update the council on the new Lake Center site, located at 2565 Parallel Drive.

A groundbreaking at the 31-acre campus site is set for Oct. 20, the college announced last month.

The only other agendized items for Tuesday's meeting are on the consent agenda, and include the approval of warrants, the minutes of the council's regular meeting on Sept. 20, the application for the annual Clear Lake High School Homecoming Parade on Oct. 21, and the receipt and filing of a notice of nonrenewal of Williamson Act contract for the City of Lakeport Municipal Sewer District.
