CLEARLAKE, Calif. – Golden State Water Co. on Thursday lifted the precautionary boil water notice that was issued on Monday to residents along Lakeshore Drive, north of and including San Joaquin Drive.
Golden State Water, in conjunction with the State Water Resources Control Board’s Division of Drinking Water, has determined that the water is safe to drink.
It is no longer necessary to boil tap water or consume bottled water.
The precautionary boil water notice was originally issued due to the Sulphur fire and a temporary loss of pressure in parts of the Clearlake system.
