SACRAMENTO – The California State Fair has opened its Home Wine Competition.

Enter your best and be recognized for your skills and hard work.

Homemade California wines are judged by wine experts in a formal, professional manner.

The competition aims to increase the knowledge, skills, and abilities of the amateur winemaker.

The State Fair Home Wine Competition allows you to put your specialized hobby to the test and take home the Blue Ribbon.

The top award winners from this competition will be on display during the 2019 California State Fair, July 12 to 28, in the Home Winemakers booth.

Entries and shipping dates are open March 18 to April 23.
